How do I place an order?

There is an order form at the bottom of the page and every product page. Kindly fill in all the details and submit the form. After which, we will email you to confirm your order and the necessary payment information within 24 hours.

What does the Pending Status means?

Once an item is sold, it’s status will be updated as sold. If the status is updated as pending it means that there is currently an order placed by a buyer on the item but the sale is not yet close. Customer can feel free to email us to get an update on the item status. In the case that the buyer did not pay at the given time, the item will be release to the next customer.

What forms of payment do you accept?

Currently, we only accept POSB/DBS internet banking, ATM transfer and Interbank transfer.

What if I delay my payment?

To be fair to the other customers, we reserve the right to release your ordered items if we do not receive payment within 2 days after your order.

Do you do meet ups? (Updated on Sept 2010)

We do not do any meet ups at the moment. All items will be sent out by post, which we believe is faster and more convenient. Ordered items will usually reach destination address within 3 – 5 working days upon payment.

We do make exceptions for customers with real difficulties on a case by case basis. In such cases the meet up location will be to our convenience.

What is the difference between normal and registered postage?

Items sent by normal post are sent like a normal regular letter to your mail box. Buyers would have to bear the risks of lost mails as it’s almost impossible to track back a lost mail via normal postage. For customers who opt for registered mail, we will provide you with a registered article (RA) no. to check the status of your order at the Singapore Post website.

Why just once a month?

Each collection is carefully sourced, planned, shoot and executed at THEBLACKDOGSTORE. As we are all studying and working full time at the same time, we launch one collection per month at the moment, so instead of launching by batches a few times a month, we try to launch as much as we can in each monthly collection. In return we also hope to help our customer save postage fees this way.

How do you measure T-shirts? (Updated on Sept 2010)

We measures Length (B) starting from the side of the collar down and Chest (A) from below the arm pits. Chest measurements are base on the circumference.

Last but not least, do you do back order? (Updated on Sept 2010)

We do back order for selected items. However if the item you wish to order does not fall under the back order list and you find yourself sleepless over it, please do not hesitate to contact us or email us at sales@theblackdogstore.com and we will try our best to assist you with your request.

How do I back order? (Updated on Sept 2010)

For items that are available for back order, customer can email us and we will include them into our back order list. It will take 2 weeks to maximum 3 weeks for back order items to arrive, during this time we reserve the right to collect the payment first. Should the back order item becomes out of stock due to suppliers replenishing stock or item being sold out, we will contact customer and do a full refund to them.

I am sending the item as a gift for someone, can do you gift wrapping? (Updated on Oct 2010)

We usually happy to throw in some gift wrapping service for customers at no additional cost. Just kindly include your request under the Additional Remarks section of the order form. We  use vintage looking newsprint wrappers and brown strings as our standard wrapping style (refer below). We will also include a handwritten note for you, just let us know what you want the note to say!
